The Frame Tommy Zula Is Taking to Worlds

The first UCI Pump Track World Champion ever crowned just punched his ticket to the 2026 World Final in Beijing — on a stock Supercross Shine V4. The same frame, in the same sizes and colors, is on our shelf right now.

August 15 in Joplin, Missouri. The Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championship Qualifier comes down to the final, and the man who won the first rainbow jersey this sport ever awarded takes the win — and the ticket to Beijing. Under him: a Shine V4, straight off the same rack yours ships from.

The Ticket to Beijing

Tommy Zula made history in Switzerland when he became the inaugural Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Champion at the Swiss Bike Park in Bern — the first rider ever to hold the rainbow jersey in the discipline. He grew up racing BMX in Dayton, Ohio, crossed into the mountain bike world, and has been at the front of pump track racing ever since: a Crankworx Rotorua three-peat, a Whistler win, and now a 2026 World Championship Qualifier win at MOmentum Bike Park in Joplin.

The 2026 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championship Final runs October 17 in Beijing's Mentougou district. The first champion the sport ever crowned is going back for the jersey — and he is going on the Shine.

There Is No Team-Only Version

A lot of brands run one frame for the team and another for the catalog. We do not. Tommy races a 26" Shine V4 in a stock size. It is in the dropdown on the product page, in the same colors, at the same price everybody else pays.

Same tubing. Same welds. Same double heat treatment. Same dropouts. There is nothing on his bike we would not ship you.

That matters more on a pump track and dirt jump frame than almost anywhere else. A race frame gets loaded hard for 35 seconds. A Shine gets pumped, cased, landed flat and sent again, lap after lap, for years. If it is going to fail, it fails at your local trails long before it fails in Beijing.

What the Shine V4 Is

Our do-everything dirt jump, pump track and 4X frame. Originally designed as a pure 4X race frame, it blends world-championship BMX race geometry with the demands of modern dirt jumping and asphalt pump track — which is exactly the crossover Tommy's whole career is built on.

"We double heat treat the Shine because a pump track doesn't care how your frame feels on lap one — it cares how it feels on lap ten thousand. The first World Champion this sport ever had picked this frame to go win it back. What he rides is what you get."
