At Supercross, we've always believed BMX tracks are the lifeblood of this sport — right alongside the local shops. The Apple Valley BMX Moto Park is one of the longest-running tracks in USA BMX history, dating back to 1974. It hosted numerous NBL Nationals, made the transition to ABA BMX, and over the decades has helped thousands of kids learn BMX skills, develop life skills, and make friendships that have lasted a lifetime. When we heard rumors it was going to shut down, we went to the city to find out why. They told us they'd had too many problems with the general public running it and needed a business to step in and take on the liability. After a quick conversation with my wife and kids, the answer was simple — we couldn't let it close. We jumped in headfirst. That was almost 20 years ago.

We brought in Billy Allen to do a full rebuild, had Kris Fox and Mikey Brabandt help lay out the track, and within weeks we were off and running — with the Sennetts and the Schraders both stepping up to help operate it.

Running a BMX track is a thankless job, and if you ever get the chance to volunteer at yours, please do — every hand counts. Over the last 20 years, a long line of operators and volunteers kept giving kids a place to ride: the Sennetts, the Schraders, the Hammond family, and now the Sutmans. Those are just the faces you see at the gate. To every single person who showed up, put in the work, and kept this track alive — thank you. Every track in this directory has that same story.
