Supercross BMX has been designing race frames from Southern California since 1989 — and no country punches above its weight in BMX racing like Latvia. A nation of under two million people has produced Olympic champions, World Cup winners, and a pipeline of elite riders that most countries ten times its size would kill for. Supercross has deeper roots in Latvia than any other BMX brand: the greatest Latvian racer of all time coaches our team, and three Latvian riders wear the factory jersey today.
Maris Strombergs, two-time Olympic gold medalist (Beijing 2008, London 2012) and the most famous BMX racer Latvia has ever produced, is part of the Supercross BMX program as a coach — preparing Supercross riders for the LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Olympic cycles. The Machine won his golds before he ever joined us. He's the champion who chose Supercross, and he's locked in with us through Brisbane 2032. His gold Vision F1 build lives on the site: The Machine's Gold Vision F1.
Latvia isn't just where our coach comes from — it's where our riders come from. Helmuts Svikss, Kristers Apels, and Vineta Petersone all race for the Supercross BMX Factory Team, carrying the Latvian flag on Supercross frames at the top of the sport. Meet the whole squad on the 2026 Factory Team page.
SIA MX Distribution in Riga distributes Supercross BMX and Speedline product for Latvia — Brīvības gatve 403, Rīga · +371 29710722. Buying locally means no customs paperwork and no import fees. Full details on the dealer locator.
The Vision F1 and Vision F1x are our full-carbon race frames — UCI legal, built with Toray aerospace-grade fiber. The Vision F1x runs Toray M40x and M46x carbon, grades you will not find on other BMX race frames. The ENVY BLK 2 carries the same carbon engineering into the 24" cruiser class.
The ENVY RS7 is our alloy race frame — 6069 triple-butted aluminum with race geometry that doesn't compromise because it's not carbon. Sizes run from Micro and Mini through Pro XXL.
We also build a full line of carbon forks, bars, stems, cranks, and components under Speedline Parts.
Direct orders through supercrossbmx.com ship to Latvia from our Apple Valley, California building — orders placed before 2pm PST go out the same day. One thing to know up front: direct orders are billed in US dollars, and Latvian customs will collect import duties and VAT when the package arrives. Those charges are set by Latvia, not by us. Buying through SIA MX Distribution skips the customs process entirely.
Supercross BMX was founded in 1989 by Bill Ryan, a former Technical Editor at BMX Plus Magazine who started building BMX frames at age 13 in Southern California. We've won USA BMX Bike of the Year eight times — the most of any frame brand in the award's history. Our frames have been raced at the Olympic level. Every frame is 100% designed in California.
