1995–2000The Pro-size AMX — six-bar aluminum for the Pro class.
The Pro-size member of the AMX family — the same high-ceramic 6013 aluminum and six-bar rear end as the AMX250, sized for the Pro class rider.
The Story
As the SX125 was to the SX250, the AMX125 was to the AMX250: the same construction philosophy in the Pro size. High-ceramic 6013 alloy, lowered twin seat stays, SX125 geometry on a 20.5" top tube, a 1-1/8" threadless head tube, 1-1/4" seatmast with a 26.8 mm post, and serials on the left rear dropout.
Colors ran red, blue, yellow, orange, green, black, and brown — with in-house powdercoating producing plenty of wild one-offs. $399 for the frame and fork set.
