BMX is about hanging out with your friends, riding your bike on some dirt jumps, and having fun. Period. Its simple when you think about it that way. Well in the early days of BMX ( I know watch out for the Old Timers references ) you only had a 20" BMX bike, then some of the older guys and Dad's wanted to get involved and the 26" cruisers joined the fold. And since the early 80's the 24" wheel has dominated BMX Cruiser racing, while the 26" evolved a bit more and became a mountain bike. Some people it seems have tried to do away with the cruiser class, but why? Cruisers are fun. They give you more track time on race day, and they are a blast to race. So why would the UCI and USA BMX get rid of Pro Cruiser and Elite Cruiser titles? Seems strange. But there are many of our die hards holding down the cruiser class for the fun racing it is.
On our own Factory Team, we have a few riders doing double duty. There is hardly a national that goes by that you won't find Gorgeous George Goodall, Nick Valencia, Randy Roberts, Wyatt Worth on their big bikes, even 2 time UCI World Champion Lil' Taylor Rungaitis loves racing class and cruiser.
So if you are one of those die hards, we solute you!!! See you at the track!!
What started off as another day in the office, quickly changed after receiving a rather interesting email. A long-time customer was reaching out to ask about inventory stock on some Carbon hoops and Carbon frames. But then... Things got interesting!
Earlier this month, some of the nation’s finest talents gathered in Tulsa, OK for the USA Cycling training camp. Amongst that group was our very own Cam Bramer! We caught up with Crazy Cam to ask about his week and give you an inside look at Elite-Level training!
We’re global baby! Checkout the latest race report from rounds 3 & 4 of the UEC series. We had a small group of great riders take on the challenge and attempt to bring home gold at the infamous Zolder track in Belgium!
