Factory Phil's 26" Supercross ENVY v5 - Big BMX

Supercross BMX - Envy v5 26" Pro Cruiser

A lot of people are requesting information on our 26" Envy v5's. Our man Phil needed a new bike to cruise the pits on at the races, so we decided to throw one together for him.

We started the build with one of the new Trans Blue ENVY v5, 26" Pro Cruiser frames, and a set of 26" Supercross SLT Cro-mo forks, chrome of course to keep a little bit of old school flare. Some of you may not know, but Phil has raced BMX since the late 70's and has been on a few pretty prestigous factory teams from JAG BMX and TW. You just know him as the ODI guy, but Phil has roots! So the Old School flare was perfect for this build.

To match up with the Chrome Supercross SLT Forks, Phil grabbed a set of Supercross Flat 6 Pro Cruiser bars in chrome to finish up the old school flavor.  After he had his frameset picked out, he loaded it up with all kinds of Speedline Parts and a slick set of Vee Rubber tires. And of course he topped it off with a set of ODI locking grips.

The ENVY v5 26" Pro Cruisers feature all of the technology of our 20" ENVY v5's but put it into a overgrown 26" package to let some of the taller riders and dads, have fun on the track.

It is a non suspension adjusted geometry, what does that mean? It means that it is set up with a true BMX geometry, and does not like to run a suspension fork. If you want a suspension front end, take a look at our Supercross Shine, the Envy v5 26" is all BMX race.

Supercross BMX - ENVY v5 Bottom Bracket juncture.

The 26" ENVY v5, also utilizes our new overgrown flared seat mast that the 20" v5's use, it is a much larger weld area and support area at the bottom bracket, add that to the traditional Supercross BMX chain stay lug, and this thing lunges forward so fast, you will think you were riding a carbon frame.

Supercross BMX CNC machined rear 15mm dropouts.

The ENVY v5 26" Pro cruiser, also utilizes the same cold forged and CNC'd 15mm Rear Dropouts found on our 20" ENVY v5 BMX race frames, so the stiffened up Bottom bracket is perfectly paired to the 15mm rear axle so that there is no wasted power on your sprint, and starts. All your power is going into forward momentum.

Like our 16" Pit Bike frames, we don't keep a regular stock on the 26" ENVY v5's we will make a small batch here and there, but it is not a regular stock item. So if you are wanting to grab one, grab one quick as they typically sell out fast. So check with your favorite Supercross BMX dealer before they are gone.

And if you want some inspiration on how to build your Supercross BMX ENVY v5 26" Pro Cruiser, here is a full parts rundown of Phil's.
