I’m Robyn Gommers and I’m 18 years old. I’m racing in the U23 category . I started racing when i was 6 years old. I had a BMX track next to the school so i tried it out for the first time there and that’s how it all started.

World champion in zolder 2019 (girls 15)

What are your hobbies outside of racing?

Only BMX :)

What are some of your goals for your racing career?

Going to the olympics before the end of my career. And being able to race a lot around the world.

Who is your favorite BMX Rider?

Maris Strombergs on he’s prime. He was so strong and fast and he’s also Latvian. He inspired all Latvia winning two Olympics.

Tell us about your favorite race and why?

World championships zolder. Even though it was in a challenge category, it still felt so good to win a world championship and to have that feeling of being a ‘world champion’ is so nice.
