Supercross BMX Heritage Collection · The Refinement Era
The sixth generation — Supercross aluminum, welded in Southern California.
G6 stood for "sixth generation." By the early 2000s aluminum had taken over BMX racing, and Supercross was in the mix — building the G6 series across three welding shops in Southern California.
The G6 carried Supercross's aluminum program forward from the AMX years, an American-built series that anchored the line until the Easton partnership took the material to the next level with the G6e.
From 2006, after Aliant shut down, the EVO G6 frames were built by Gary Turner — the legendary builder whose shop also helped with the Fat Man Flyer run.
