Calling all Racers, Factory Dad's! And Factory Mom's! - Lets see your Custom BMX Builds

Right now while people are having a little bit of time off the bike, it might be time to get the bikes tuned up and ready for when it is time to hit the tracks and trails again.

This isn't a story that we had planned, it is something that just happened. A few weeks ago , before this whole corona virus situation hit the world , we posted up a pic of the new ENVY RS7 that Bill built up as a tribute to his friend and mentor Perry Kramer.

Custom Supercross BMX ENVY RS7

Well it got posted up onto Al Cayne's website Sugarcayne.com as the Bike of the Day, and as Kj, Felicia, and Bill were talking, it was decided that maybe we should do a web feature on our Supercross BMX YouTube Channel for the Bike of the Week where you can send in pics of your best builds, and thru the wonderful world of the internet, the team would vote on their favorites.

So with this, we have gotten a few of our co-sponsors to jump on board for a few prizes for the winners as well, and Al over at Sugarcayne.com said that he will also feature the winners up in his Bike of the Day feature, so not only will you get some prizes, you will get bragging rights all over the internet.

So here is what you need to do. is upload a photo of your bike by e-mailing in a high quality jpg of your bike along with your name and phone number to BOTW@supercrossbmx.com ,

There is only 1 photo allowed per e-mail, so make it a good one. The judges will be looking for details. The Bikes do not have to be Supercross' to win. we love all BMX bikes, but hey, this is on Supercross' website, weill be on Supercross' YouTUBE Channel, will be judged by the Supercross BMX Factory Team, so you would think that you might want to enter your best Supercross.  But hey, who am I to say what to do.

By submitting your photos, you are agreeing to allow us to publicize your photo, and your name in our media, and all photos become property of Supercross BMX, and all other typical laws of contests like this, blah, blah blah... you know how this goes. It's for fun. So lets have some fun.

About 10 years ago I was looking for a “big” present for my 1 year old son at Christmastime. My daughter was getting a dirt bike, and hey, that's a big gift! You can't get a baby a dirt bike though, right? I was trying to be that “fair" kind of mom, their presents had to be sort of equal. I thought a bike would fit the bill, even though he wouldn’t have known the difference. While looking at amazon one day, I sent my husband a link of this new toy that was in the recommended area and said “What do you think of this?” Holden got a balance bike.

BMX How to - Switching to a Tapered Headtube

We get asked a lot around here. How do I switch from an Expert to a Pro Frame. What parts do I need to use to install the tapered headtube. People seem to think that the Tapered headtube on the Supercross ENVY BLK2 and the Supercross ENVY RS7 Pro size and larger frames are some kind of "Black Magic"

How do I build my Supercross Shine? #bigbmx fun!

Since we are a BMX racing company, we get asked a TON, how do I build my Supercross Shine? I know, it's foreign to a lot of people, a Mountain Bike ( Big BMX is what I like to call it ) and our Shine is the perfect animal to get going on. it's a hardtail ( I know a strange term, but it means no rear suspension )  and can be build single speed like a BMX bike with our optional BMX dropouts , or Multi speed like a Mountain bike.
