The Supercross BMX ENVY RS7 is the most advanced aluminum BMX race frame ever produced — a decade in development, built from proprietary 7005 ULR (Ultra Light Race) tubing developed in partnership with Easton®, and available in 18 sizes from Micro Mini through Pro XXXXL and 24" Cruiser. Why 7005 aluminum over the industry-standard 6061? When properly aged and heat treated, 7005 aluminum delivers higher strength and yield than 6061 — making it stronger and lighter where it counts. Supercross has been running 7005 ULR tubing exclusively across its ENVY aluminum line for over a decade, refining the tubeset with every generation. The RS7 is the culmination of that work. Every RS7 tube set is custom-shaped and triple-butted using Supercross's own molds — designed exclusively for BMX racing, not adapted from road or mountain bike specs. The result is a frame that is measurably stiffer, lighter, and more responsive than any previous Supercross aluminum frame. The fully boxed-in chainstays — constructed with 7005 sheet aluminum at the widest contact point on the BB shell — deliver bottom bracket stiffness that approaches the performance of the carbon ENVY BLK 2. The cold-forged dropouts and cold-rolled BB shell threads provide lasting strength and precision that machined alternatives can't match.
