BMX Racing

– BMX Racing started in the early 70’s in southern california. Your Friends, your bike, and some dirt, what more can a kid ask for. Supercross has been a BMX Racing company since day one and it’s roots have grown out of the Southern California BMX racing dirt . As we enter into our 27th year of Business, BMX racing is still our main focus at Supercross BMX. Take a look thru the site and see what we mean. We have everything you will need to start BMX racing, or to ugrade your current BMX Racing bike.

BMX Bikes

– BMX Racing Bikes have steadily progressed since the sports inception. The first BMX racing bikes were modified Schwinn Stingrays, they were heavy, handled poorly and always broke. Next came the custom BMX Frames built out of Mild Steel, Geomtery was getting better, but they were still heavy and not that strong. Next up 4130 Cro-mo, a true racing material for BMX, it was what airplanes and race cars were built out of and now BMX Bikes! Not too logn after 4130 Cr-moly came into play for BMX there started being people to experiment with Aluminum, it was lighter and stiffer, but it took a bit for people to prefect it , and when it was perfected, whoa, it is so nice. Most BMX racing Frames are are still today made of Aluminum, such as our ENVY v5 and ENVY sport BMX race frames, but as things are constantly progressing, we are working with the next wave of BMX racing materials, Carbon fiber, it is lighter, stronger and faster than anything we have been able to imagine before. Take a look at the ENVY BLK and see what we mean.
