Who Is Sequoia?

Sequoia Gomolicke is a 14-year-old BMX racer on the Supercross BMX Factory Team. She races two bikes — 14 Girls Expert on her class bike and 13-14 Girls Cruiser on her 24" cruiser — and she's at the top of the country on both. She's been on a bike since she was two, following her older brothers to the track. She quickly decided watching wasn't enough, started racing herself, and hasn't stopped since.

2024 was a statement year. Sequoia won the UCI BMX World Championships on her cruiser, took second at the same Worlds on her class bike, and closed the season as a double USA BMX NAG #1 — number one in the country in both 12 Girls Cruiser and 12 Girls Expert. Joining the Supercross BMX Factory Team at the end of 2022 set the foundation. The work she's put in since has done the rest.

Off the track she's the kid teaching the newer riders. She rides dirt bikes when she's not on BMX. Her goal isn't just to keep winning — it's to be the rider the younger kids look up to.
