Meet Mikey Swearingen
AKA Mikey B. Is a 32-year-old Vet Pro out of Upland California. Mikey started racing BMX at the age of 8 after his older brother talked their dad into taking them to the BMX track. Like many of the other riders, Mikey was hooked on the sport after that first day of riding.
Mikey is a 2x A.B.A. World Champion, U.C.I. Junior Men World #4, N.B.L. National #1 in the 17-18 category, A N.A.G. 5 challenge winner, 2x Goldcup #1, and a 3x State Champion. He’s had quite a career, but it doesn’t stop there. Mikey also finished 7th overall in the A.A. Pro category and even competed in 2 D.E.W. tour action sports races (the early supercross series).
Mikey B has been with us here at Supercross for a long time. He’s raced A-Pro, AA-Pro, and now Vat-Pro, all while wearing a factory Supercross jersey. Mikey appreciates our family culture and strong camaraderie amongst riders. He sees the super sweet bike builds as icing on the cake.
Outside of BMX, Mikey enjoys Rock Climbing, Camping, Hiking, Skateparks, and woodworking. Mikey is a true outdoorsman and enjoys nearly every activity that he can do outside. Looking forward, Mikey plans to just have fun with BMX and enjoy interacting with the BMX Racing community. He also looks to continue to advance with his woodworking skills and eventually profit from that.
