It seems like alot of companies have given up on Cro-Mo Race Frames. Our Supercross R-CR Series Cro-mo BMX race frame is based off of our most popular Cro-mo BMX frame ever , the UL series. In fact BMX Plus! magazine in thier test on the UL ( March 2005 ) said the UL might be the savior of Cro-mo for Race Frames. Light as most Aluminum Frames ( 4.2lbs for XL size) with the Reliability of Steel.

The R-CR uses the same Air Hardened, Triple Butted, Seamless Cro-mo tubeset that the UL did, the same CNC releaved Heat Treated Cro-mo Dropouts, the same built in seat collar and features the same race proven geometry, but the R-CR has stepped things up to the cutting edge by adding in a Campy® style Internal Heat Treated Cro-mo Headtube, and Bi-Ovalized Downtube to keep the cro-mo BMX race world evolving to the future.
Some people may criticize the Internal headsets, but we have found that on a high quality cro-mo steel frame like the R-CR that the headtube is much more durable than an old aluminum cup, and the installation is so simple that you will think you have missed a step.
