Supercross BMX Sinner 2 Pro Cranks
The Supercross Sinners evolved from our 3pc Cro-mo StrongArms. When we built the StrongArms we wanted to build the best BMX crank available, and luckily BMX Plus! magazine, BMXUltra.com and thousands of you agreed.
The Sinners use our same multi piece formed 4130 cro-mo top bone and 4130 cro-mo back bone that are TIG welded to form a shape that is not only light weight but very strong and very stiff.
And from there, they become all new, they now use a larger 24mm Hollow 4130 Cro-mo Integrated Spindle, our exclusive reverse axially domed 104mm 4 bolt removeable spicer and the FSA Mega Exo Outboard Bottom Bracket kit. By going to a larger hollow spindle we were able to increase the stiffness and power transfer and bring the weight down. The entire crankset in a 180mm length is only 1000 grams!
The reverse axial domed spider is designed to allow perfect chain alignment on any BMX frame while still allowing for the larger and smoother FSA Mega EXO outboard bottom bracket. You can place your chainring on the outside or inside of the spider depending upon what your particular frame and rear hub combination calls for.
And installation of your new Sinners is as easy as can be. FSA did a complete install direction sheet for us, which you can download here in PDF form. But the way we have found it to work best is to take the FSA Mega Exo BB cups and thread them directly up to the frame with no spacers, get rid of the middle dust cover slide the drive side arm/spindle in to your BB. Press on the non drive side arm, install your end bolt, tighten it up, lock down the pinch bolts and ou are ready to go. Put on your chainring ( inside or outside the spider depending on your frame hub combo) make sure your chain is adjusted properly and your back wheel tight and go ride!
