Lots of racing going on this weekend again, the World Schedule of BMX is full. First up we have the UCI BMX SX race in Copenhagen. Sam will be there and was planning on taking another spot on the podium, but her back is still in a bad way so she is going to be on the sidelines rooting everyone else on and making sure her back gets better for the UCI Worlds. We are all wishing Sam a quick recovery. Back Pain is not fun. Now you won't have the same vantage point as Sam will watching from the sidelines, but you can watch it live here via Freecaster.tv. By just clicking this page here.

Quick news update direct from Copenhagen, is that there was no practice today as the track is not finished being built yet. It is now thier Thursday night.

Next up we have the ABA Blue Springs Nationals, now while it is not a Pro race, if you are going, I would make sure that you stck around for the Friday night race. Word on the street is that there is going to be a friendly little bragging rights race between a couple of brother in-laws. Seems Mikey has been training with his brother in law Warwick Stevenson and has thrown down the gauntlet and the Missle is ready to blast the Warlock right off the track. It is all in good fun as they are great friends as well as family and they want to put on a good show for all the riders out in Missouri.

Mikey is also starting up his Summer Clinic program, the next one will be at Speedy's BMX Raceway in Fayetteville, Arkansas on June 7th. If you are in Arkansas, start making your plans now.

We have been having a lot of calls on the Supercross EVO G6e frames lately. And yes they are shipping, but no they are not in the tri-tone color. Unfortunately the powdercoater that was going to do the Tr-tone for us, decided that they could not do them after doing the original samples. So we are doing them in solid colors. And we sent a few out to get anodized.

This is the Red Anodized G6e, and it looks great, we also did a couple of Blue ones, a Pink one and a special color that Jimmy Brown will be riding at the National Champs in a few weeks while he tries to repeat his title. We will have to get Jimmy to send in a pic of it once he gets it all together.

And the Black that the powdercoater did for these first few is actually a real cool color, but not a regular black. We were asking for a metalic black and the clear coat they put on that has the sparkles in it, had a green tint to it, so the frames look Black in low light, but under the sunlight they have a real cool British Racing Green effect.

The Anodized Pro Frame pictured above weighed in at 2lbs 15 ounces and the Powdercoated Expert XXL shown here tipped the scales at 2lbs 12 ounces. Here are a few close up shots to show the detail of the colors.

If you are wanting to get one of these G6e's check with your local Authorized Supercross BMX dealer or visit our shop page today as they are going fast.

ABA Tulare is in the record books. The weather was great and there was a lot of good racing here in the states. On Saturday Brian, Kyliegh and Ashley all made their mains, and then on Sunday they finally had a class for Ashley so she wasn't racing up like Saturday and she took a 2nd and Kyliegh pulled a 5th in 16 girls. And Ashley's little brother GI Joe made his 5 and under main on Sunday as well.

On the otherside of the world the UCI European Championships went down with a lot of great racing. The crowds in the stands were on thier feet to watch Europes best race. Sam as we had mentioned earlier was hurt so she did not race, but got to watch the whole thing and I am sure was cheering loud for her training partner from the UCI Center Sifiso while he won Men's Elite on Saturday. You can see all the results on BMXmania.com and there are videos up on BMX2day.com. Now we need to hope that Sam's back feels better for the UCI SX race in Copenhagen this coming weekend. And it looks like this weekends UCI SX race will be broadcast live on Freecaster.tv again. We will post a link as soon as it is available.

Now while on the subject of International BMX, Carl Lein the former Editor and publisher of MOTOMAG Magazine has been keeping a very close tab on the Internatonal scene leading up to the Olympics. His webpage GLOBAL BMX has all the up to date predictions for the riders going to the Olympics. Nice site Carl, thanks for helping keep the BMX World up to date on what is going on.

May 2nd, 2008
ABA Tulare National this weekend. we will only have a few riders going, Brian Peterson is supposed to be announcing as well as racing, Ashley Shrader made the trip up yesterday, and Kyleigh Kalapaca is driving up today. Little Allie may be going but she is still a little busted up with her elbow after last weekends race in Spartanburg.

Heard a little rumor that they ran a mock Olympic BMX Time Trial race at the OTC yesterday and that Bubba won 4 out of 5 rounds, and that Mikey Day won the time trial. Great to see Bubba getting back up to full strength.

Over in Germany, Sam got there but has a pinched nerve in her back and it is throwing off her balance so she will not be racing, but you can see what she will be seeing by checking out BMXmania.com for updates as Jerry is there covering the race for the whole world to enjoy.

Got an e-mail from Brandon Little yesterday, he got his drivers license and had his prom, man they grow up quick. I just want to know if he will let us drive the car he got to take to the prom. Canadian Vice in full effect.

And if you haven't heard, we are moving into larger digs. So it has been pretty crazy the last few weeks getting the permits and such all lined up and the next few will be pretty crazy as well as we settle in to the new place. It is only a few miles down the road, but will give us a lot more room. We will do a full photo tour when we move in but until then, here is the way the place looks now.

Over 4,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution room and it is only a few doors down from our machine shop, so it should make things a lot nicer and easier to keep pushing out the fastest BMX racing products on the planet. More updates later.

The ABA East Coast Nationals are done and in the record books. Kenth was still feeling sore yesterday morning from his cruiser crash on Saturday and was still struggling with geting over the first jump in the mud. He scored another 2nd in Vet while crashing again in Pro Cruiser to take another 5th. Chris Krooswyk took another 4th today in Pro Cruiser, Bakari grabbed a second in cruiser, and Little Allie pulled off another Double for the day. Guess she is going for the full In - N Out Double Double!! Allie was having a rough year last year with injuries as was Kenth, but looks like they have both gotten past it and are back on thier winning ways. Congrats to everyone!

On the International front, Sam leaves tomorrow for Germany for the last of the UCI Euro rounds. And right after that the next UCI Supercross race in Denmark.

More news updates later in the week.

April 26th, 2008
Day 1 of the ABA East Coast Nationals are in the record books. Kenth ended up crashing in the first straight on his Pro Cruiser main, but pulled off a solid second in Vet Pro while winning the last main. And even with his crash he still took a 5th in Pro Cruiser. Chris Krooswyk took 4th in Pro Cruiser today while avoiding the first straight carnage. Bakari pulled off a 4th in cruiser and a 5th in 17-18x, And Little Allie who we were so worried about after her major crash in practice went out and pulled off a perfect winning her motos and both her class and crusier mains today! Congrats to all. More updates tomorrow.

April 25th, 2008
Got a call late last night from Mikey letting us know that his ride to Spartanburg decided not to go due to predictions of inclimate weather. So he is still on the hunt for a way to go, but last minute airline tickets were upwards of $900, so not a feasable option. If anyone knows of a cheap flight or knows someone leaving from Kansas or surrounding areas, please let us know. Otherwise Mikey will have to wait until Blue Springs to fly the colors at a national.

We have been getting a ton of calls the last few days asking when our Kevlar Blue Streaks will be available. And we keep telling everyone that the 20x1.5's are here and shipping and that other sizes will be here shortly. We were then told that we forgot to update it on our Blue Streak tire page and the shop page. So it is now updated. So go get yours now.

April 24th, 2008
Well 2 big Pro nationals this weekend on the East Coast, NBL Woodbridge, and ABA Spartenburg. Little Allie has already flown in to South Carolina with her Mom for the ABA race, Bakari is resting up at home as this is the closest he gets to a home track national. Kenth flies in on Friday, Chris Krooswyk is driving down to battle it out in A Pro, and our new AA pro will be there Friday as well.

Thats right, our new AA Pro, we would like to welcome Mikey Moeller to the Supercross Family.

Unless you have been hibernating for a while you all know Mikey. Mikey was the anchor of Crupi's amatuer team sheets until it was disbanded a few years ago, turned pro, won a main or two and has spent the last few years fighting injury. And through it all he has kept a positve outlook and has still been teaching his regular clinics and is ready to attack the ABA Pro circuit and grab a top ten number again. Mikey had already been running our Forks Bars and Cranks ,so he was a natural pick for the team as well as being a friend to the whole Supercross Pro crew. So keep a look out for Mikey in the AA Pro mains this weekend in South Carolina.

Now for some other big news, we have been having to keep the lid on this one for a while, but BMX Racing will be being featured on the NBC Today Show next week on April 30th! This is a combo effort of the ABA and the NBL to give BMX Racing a huge BOOST before the Olympics. So set your TIVO or DVR and make sure you save this piece of BMX history. There will be four of the USA's Olympic Candidates on the show. Thank you to the ABA and the NBL and NBC for making this happen. Makes me glad that one of our favorite shows My Name is Earl is on NBC.

April 21st, 2008
The World Famous Sea Otter was this weekend, and while we are not currently in production of a MTB frame we do have some stuff in the works for the future, and we have built a few in the past. So this last weekend Slim, took his old Supercross MX26, for a little MTB ride as he and the ABA boys went to the Sea Otter and had some fun.

Here is a pic of Ken attacking the Dual Slalom course on his Supercross MX26 with his bad leg that he still has not gone to see the doctor on as he wanted to do this race. He is promising he will go today, but he was mumbling something about maybe doing the ABA Tulare National first.

Now from Big Bikes to little bikes, Scott up at Bust Out BMX in Idaho, sent us some pics of him and his Supercross EVO iS Pit he put together.

He says it is the best riding Pit he has ever ridden. Heck if you are going to make a play bike, might as well have it be fun right. More news later in the week as we get ready to attack the Pro Podiums in South Carolina.

April 18th, 2008
Sam is back in Switzerland and will be going to the UCI Rounds 9 and 10 this weekend in Switzerland but will not be racing as she is just a bit flat from the traveling back from Australia. She will be getting ready to do Rounds 11 and 12 in Germany before heading to Denmark for the next UCI SX World Cup race.

Now next weekend we have the ABA and the NBL stacking Pro races on top of each other again as the ABA will be having their East Coast Nationals in Spartanburg, SC and the NBL will be having their Freedom Nationals in Woodbridge, VA. And of course both are pro races on the same weekend. So it looks like we will have Kenth, Bakari and Little Allie all traveling to the ABA East Coast Nationals. But will not have anyone in Woodbridge. Now I am sure some of you are what about Tyler? Well Tyler's leg is still a bit sore from his accident at the OTC which kept him from racing at the UCI SX BMX World Cup race in Adeliade, but the biggest news is that if he does heal up and decide to race, he will be at the NBL Woodbridge race, but he will be in a new pair of racing pants and a new jersey as he has gotten a huge offer to go to a new team. We figured it wouldn't be long that he would have some offers knocking on his door as he had put in the best races of his career on his Supercross EVO iS and was getting quite a bit of attention. Heck he is even on the cover of the new BMX World Magazine on his Supercross in Jeans! So we are sorry to see Tyler go, but he will continue to run whatever Supercross parts he can such as the forks and other small parts. Good Luck Tyler.

April 14th, 2008
The new Macleans magazine hits the stands today. Now most of you are probably wondering why that is a big deal, I mean it isn't a BMX magazine right? Well, no it is not a BMX magazine, but it is one of the most read Magazines in Canada with 2.8 million weekly readers and is comparable to a People and Newsweek here in the states all rolled into one. Well this issue is real special to us as it has a great interview with Sam! You can read the online version by clicking here. But if you can find it we highly recomend picking up the print edition. Nice to see BMX racing and Sam get some much deserved exposure. And from what we have heard this is just the tip of the iceburg.

April 13th, 2008
Sam takes the podium a the UCI SX race in Adelaide! Podium places were Sarah Walker first, Arielle Martin second and Sam Third! Congrats Sam!

And if you click on to our news page we have the replay of the Womens Elite Main from Freecaster.tv

April 12th, 2008 - Evening 3
Sammy has made the main!!! I know it may seem stupid to get excited for just making the main, but these UCI SX races are getting tougher and tought and are a great pre-curser for the UCI Worlds and the Olympic Games! Keep checking BMXmania.com for all the news from down under!

April 12th, 2008 - Evening 2
Sam has the fastest time for the first round!!! Stay posted for more updates!!

April 12th, 2008 - Evening
The UCI Race in Adelaide should be starting now. Freecaster.tv will be broadcasting the race, but not until tomorrow morning at 4:30 A.M. after the races will be over. Jerry at BMXmania.com and Shane at BMXultra.com are putting up updates quickly and we should all know how the race finished before Freecaser.tv broadcasts it, so it is not live liek was originally planned but it will still be real cool to watch, we put up a special Freecaster page that you can see by clicking this page here. We are bummed that Tyler is not able to race today, but we are cheering real hard for Sam! We also have a few favorites we would like to see in the Mens Main as well since Tyler is not in there. This is going to be a great race! More Updates later. Below is a pictre of the starting hill borrowed from BMXmania.com.

April 12th, 2008
UCI Time Trials are done and Jerry from BMXmania.com has the full sheets posted. Sam had a few awesome runs and qualified 4th. Congrats Sam! But Tyler unfortunately is still hurt and tried to ride, but couldn't so he is totally bummed sitting on the sidelines watching the race. Now in great news, Redline's Bubba Harris, did not break his hand as it was thought yesterday, it is just badly bruised and he took 10th in the time trials. More updates as we hear them.

April 11th, 2008
Not alot of news from the UCI Supercross Practice in Adelaide. As of right now it is about Midnight there ( 7:30 a.m. Cali time ), so all the racers should be sleeping getting ready for the time trials. Jerry over at BMXmania.com is going to be posting up the news as fast as he can. So here is a recap of what we have heard so far.

Sam called and said that she feels real good in practice but that a lot of peopel are getting hurt. I guess three of the Elite Women were taken off on stretchers to the Ambulance. Also Redline's Bubba Harris crashed and broke his hand. No word yet on how Tyler is feeling with his leg. More updates later.

April 10th, 2008
The UCI Supercross BMX race in Aidelaide will start up today. Yes, we know that sounds weird but you have to remember Australia is a day ahead of us here in the states. So starting at 8:00 tonite California time they will start the Mens Elite Practice. Then tomorrow our Friday and their Saturday around the same time they will start the Time Trials. Then Finally on our Saturday thier Sunday the race will start. So make your Saturday night plans now as this will be a heck of a race. You can watch it live here by clicking this page here or you can watch it on Freecaster.tv on their BMX Channel.

Also don't forget to keep checking BMXmania.com and BMXultra.com daily for updates on everything that is going on. Jerry and Shane go the extra mile constantly to make sure that everyone in BMX knows what is going on. If these 2 sites are not on your favorites bar for a daily check they need to be.

We will be keeping you updated as we hear things. As of this morning Sam said the weather was good again and she was ready for the race. Tyler on the other hand is still having trouble with his leg from his crash at the OTC last week. We were hoping and praying that Tyler's leg would heal up quickly, but I think the 22 hour plane flight on a sore Leg/Hip probably did more harm than good. We are saying prayers for him that it will feel good enough for him to race come race time. Tyler has really been proving himself as a true contender and the darkhorse as they say for the Olympics. More updates later.

April 6th, 2008
Well starting back up in the ABA Great North West, Jimmy Brown decided he was going to proove that yestrday wasn't a fluke and took another A Pro win today! Congrats Jimmy! Slim also decided that today was going to be his day and won his semi and went out to blast the gate in his cruiser round, and got balle up in a 3 way crash in the first turn and thinks he bent the titanium rod in his leg he broke last year! We are trying to get him to go to the Dr. but he said something about not until Sea Otter in a few weeks. Amanda made 3 mains today, Open, Class and Cruiser so she was having a great day! Amanda always makes everything fun and comes off the track with a big smile all the time. Simon had a little bit better day and made the open main, but still got balled up in Semi's in class. And Erin made Class and Cruiser again today as well, so it was a great weekend at a Great Facility!! Thanks ABA! Oh and did we mention that Jimmy also won BMX Hex's holeshot award? Well now we did!

Now back down south at the NBL Pacific Nationals Randy Roberts made a rare Sunday apperance saved up some energy in the motos to have a hot lap in his main and came out of the gate like a man possesed and then missed a little bit of backside on the first straight and had to settle for a 5th. Little Allie is working hard and is constantly making us proud and this weekend was no exception, she perfected her cruiser class again, won the NBL's Kenda tire toss and then followed up with another 2nd in class. The whole time with a huge smile on her face. The best riders are happy riders, and Allie always prooves that. Next up we had Ashley who is also smiling ear to ear and decided to follow up yesterday's perfect with another one today. Ashley has also been secretly training her little brother GI Joe and you can tell it is working. In DeSoto he pulled off a couple of thirds and now this weekend Joe went out and was leading every single moto until the last turn when you could tell the little guy was running out of steam.

Down in Australia for the UCI, the track is being built and everyone should be landing and getting ready for the race. We will keep you updated on how Sam and Tyler do next weekend as it is going on, or we hear it is being broadcast live on freecaster.tv as well.

April 5th, 2008
Lots of good racing going on this weekend so we will start off in the Great Nothwest where the current ABA BMXer cover boy, Jimmy Brown, took his first A Pro Win!!! Congrats Jimmy!

Slim Pliska despite being completely busted up made his main, but bonked the gate and had to be happy his broken up bones made the main today. Amanda Little

another of our broken brigade, made both her class and cruiser mains and took a 5th and a 7th, Simon Meili

had a tough race in 15x and didn't make it past semi's and Erin Sawatzki

made both her class and cruiser mains and almost as if she was trying to emulate Amanda took a 5th in class and then a 8th in cruiser. And in Oregon this weekend we were lucky enough to have Barney Brown on hand shooting photos and sent some down right away as you see above. Thanks Barney! But he also sent down an overview of the track so any of you following Mike Fields updates on Vintagebmx.com who aren't lucky enough to be there can see just how awesome this facility is!

If you click on the news link above, it will take you to the full news page where the photos are much larger.

Now back down south, we had the NBL War of the Stars Pacific Nationals going on, The whole thing didn't start off too good when one of our Older Am's hit Snooze a few times too many and didn't show up to race, our other older Am Randy Roberts who we would normally accuse of doing something like this showed up and made the main and took a 3rd or 4th from what we heard. Next Little Allie who always shows up on time like she is a pro in training perfected her cruiser class today and took a 2nd in class. Following that act up Ashley Shrader decided that a perfect for her in class is a great way to start the weekend as well.

On the Pro Front Tyler jumped his plane for Australia today to meet up with Sam down in Australia as they both get ready to kill that UCI SX track in Adelaide. One of the Pro's who decided to sit the UCI SX race out thsi round Kyle Bennett took the win today in AA Pro , no word on who took Masters while Kenth was sitting home healing up that shoulder of his. More updates from both races tommarrow.

April 4th, 2008
We have had quite a few e-mails and calls asking about the 26" Evo iS Frames, and yes we have the first few sample pieces as shown below.

These frames are awesome, now while not quite as cool as the 26" EVO G6e prototypes we built, these frames are much more affordable and feature the same race ready geometry. These frames will retail for $299 for the Frame and add $95 for a Supercross 26" Heat Treated Cro-mo Pro Fork. The 26" Evo iS frames weigh in at 3.75lbs and have a 22.5" Top Tube and a 16.25" Rear Chainstay at Center and have a 11.75" bb height. Right now we only have 1 Black, 1 Pearl White, 1 Oil Slick Blue and 2 polished ones. Forks are in stock in both Black and White. Be sure to visit our local Authorized Supercross Dealer or our shop page to get yours today.

Now we also have a lot of racing going on this weekend. First we have the ABA Great Northwest Nationals in Redmond, OR where we will have the busted up part of the team showing up. Well not all the team is busted up but I think you will see what we mean. First Jimmy Brown is there ready to race and put a win in the finish column, then we have Slim Pliska who was going to make this his first national back since his busted leg last year in Boulder, and of course last weekend while practicing went over the bars at gate practice and as of yesterday could not move his freshly healed leg and has a busted up hand to go with the leg now, Josh Balder one of our Factory Support riders from the midwest was looking to make thsi a strong finish this weekend and has been training for this weekend and busted his collarbone last weekend, Simon Meili is here and is not broken, so he is ready to get out of the snow and have some good laps this weekend. Amanda Little is here but is still busted up from her crash a few weeks ago at Black Mountain, but is ready to ride and Erin Sawatzki is here and ready to race. So as you see half of the riders there are on the injured reserve list.

Now back down south we have the NBL Pacific Nationals, which is the first time there has been an NBL national in Southern California since 2002 when it was held in Sun Valley. Down here this weekend we will have Randy Roberts showing up and feeling strong, Brian Peterson says he is going to race on Saturday before heading up to Simi on Sunday for a clinic he is teaching, Little Allie is bummed that the team did not end up making the trip up to Oregon to pick up the Supercross Team Truck but is planning on picking up a few NBL wins as she wants to go after Dual Titles and plates this year, seems she really wants to follow in the footsteps of our Multi Sanction Women Pro Sammy Cools. And Little Allie's Protege Ashley Shrader is ready to race another NBL race this weekend as she going for dual sanction plates as well. And we heard that Kyleigh Kalapaca may be showing up this weekend, but also heard something about Prom, so...

Now even though this weekend is a Pro Race at the NBL Pacific Nationals, Sam is already in Australia getting ready for next weekends UCI SX race, Tyler has been at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista all week and flies down to meet up with Sam in Australia on Saturday, and Kenth after taking two more ABA Vet Pro Wins and the USAC Masters Title last weekend is taking a weekend off to let his shoulder heal up from his cash in Okaheelee at the NBL Gator nationals a few weeks ago. More updates as things happen.

March 31st, 2008
Well the weekend ended up with a similar replay of Friday, Kenth took his 3rd Vet win for the weekend! 2 ABA, and 1 USAC National Championship. Congrats! Tyler also looked like he was going to pull a repeat of Friday and was leading Pro Cruiser until the last turn when he popped a chain coming out of the last turn. Danny C passed him right at the line to take the win for the day. On the Amateur side, Bakari and TR4 both made thier cruiser mains, and Ashley Shrader made her Class and Cruiser mains. And while we are mentioning Ashley big congratulations go out to Ashley's little brother GI Joe who not only made all of his mains this weekend, but came home with a couple of thirds!

Now Jimmy didn't make it to the DeSoto national, but will be heading up to Redmond, OR this weekend for the ABA Great Northwest Nationals. And he may have a little extra bit of psyche going as besides his new training program, he is on the newest cover of the BMXer.

Not too bad to share your first cover with Liam Phillips and Travis Ohrazda.

Mar.29th, 2008 - Afternoon
Kenth wins the USAC National Championship Title!!!

Kenth is continuing his winning streak and has added his first of many Masters/Vet Titles to his resume. We also had Bakari Hassan take a 3rd today in Cruiser, and Ashley Shrader took a 3rd in 9 girls. Tyler Brown was looking fast today and won his third moto but a tough semi kept him and a few other notables like GT's Mikey Day and Redline's Bubba Harris all out of the main. Other title's today is Samantha taking the UCI North American Womens Elite Title. Sammy had a 9 point lead before this weekend and with it only being for US Citizens she could not compete to strengthen her lead, but with Jill taking the first good for 8 points, Sam maintans her lead and takes the overall title for the year by 2 points. Thanks to Carl Lien for keeping so up to date on all the UCI points for all riders around the world. This is Samantha's third year in a row taking the UCI North American Womens Elite Title. More updates tommarrow for Day 2 of the ABA Supernationals from DeSoto Texas. Be sure to watch live on go211.com and check BMXmania.com for regular updates on all the racing action.

Mar. 29th, 2008
ABA Supernationals Day 1 was yesterday and it got off to a great start with Kenth taking another Vet Pro Win. Tyler had a great start to the day but missed the AA Main by 1 place so when it was time for cruiser he was not messing around and took the Pro Cruiser win for the day! Kenth followed Tyler in for a second.

On the amatuer side of things Bakari was having a good run at things and took a 5th in the semi, so you know he is going to be gunning for the mains today for the USAC championship. Thomas Richards was having his ankle cramp up but still took a solid third in 16 cruiser. And Ashley Shrader made the trip out and took a 2nd in 8 girls and a 3rd in her cruiser class. Congrats to all!! More updates later after the USAC Championships today! And be sure to check out BMXmania.com for all your news from DeSoto with great photos like the one above by Derek Noveas.

Mar.25th, 2008
Well it didn't take long, but the UL Pit Frame is gone and we have had a ton of other calls on getting more of the EVO Aluminum pit bike frames made as well. So we may be doing another short run of them in the future.Keep checking back for details.

We made a few small changes to the team page and started getting some of the individual rider BIO pages up. We stared with the Pro's of Sammy, Kenth, Tyler, Jimmy and Kaila. Let us know what you think and if you as the readers would like to see included in the BIO and interviews. More riders BiO pages coming soon.

Mar.22nd, 2008
We have had a lot of people asking o see the color of the Silver/Grey Supercross BMX Pro and Lo Pro Bars, so here is a quick pic of them.

It is more of a Gun Metal Grey color than a Silver and it has been a very popular frame color for us and we have been having people ask for it in Bars and Forks as well, so here ya go.

And just in time for Spring and in time to get ready for Rockford's Annual Pit bike race we did a short run of Pit Bike Frames,

these all have a 19.5" Top Tube so it give you room to stretch out and has a short little 12.5" rear end so they are real fun to jump, this is the same geometry we did a few years back on our DEVO pit frames we made. We only built 5 of these EVO 6061 T-6 Aluminum frames and as soon as Scott up at Bust Out BMX in Idaho heard what we had going on, he wanted to buy all of them. Well we sold Scott 4 of the 5, we are keeping one for ourselves to go in the beast of a Team Truck that is hitting the road again thsi summer. So if you want one get ahold of Scott up at Bust Out BMX, but I have a feeling he is going to try to hold on to as many of them as he can. Scott got a Black, an Oil Slick Blue ( which seems to be a very popular color lately ) Pearl White and the Mirror Polish one shown above. We also have 1 of the Air Hardened Triple Butted Cro-mo UL Pit Bike Frames left.

We were keeping this one for the Team Truck, but figured the Aluminum ones came out so sweet we are going to build up one of them instead. It has the same geometry and has the built in Seatpost Clamp as well. So if you are in need of a custom Cro-mo pit bike frame that is ready to race, give us a call or send in an e-mail. I am sure it won't last long.

Mar.20th, 2008
The UCI updated thier points yesterday to reflect the series through last weekends UCI Round 9 and 10 at the NBL Gator Nationals, and Sammy is still leading the UCi North American Points! Tyler also remained in the same spot holding on to a position in the top 8, and Kaila climbed into the top 10 for North American UCI Elite Women. Not many big races left to finalize up the overall scores. Austalia and Denmark have thier UCI Supercross Races and then the UCI Worlds in China.

There are still a few other UCI races, like the New Zealand National Championships in Christchurch this weekend, where we are proud to announce our newest Supercross BMX Distributor, BOSS Racing Supplies. We have been working with Tony for the last few months to get things rolling, and we are sure you will see big things happening with Supercross down under now that we have the extra help of Tony and his crew. He will have a display set up at the National Championships this weekend and we are hoping the banner makers get him the display banners in time. More updates on this in the very near future.

Now while we are speaking of things going on down under, Shane at BMXultra.com has done another surprise product review, this time on our Straight 8 Pro Bars. You can read the full review by clicking here. We also have the Straight 8 and Lo Pro bars in a Limited Edition Metallic Silver color now as well since we have been having trouble finding a new chrome plater. So now you can choose from Black, White or Silver for your Supercross Pro Bars.

And lastly for today, we have not gotten all the pics from the last weekends racing, but Randy Little sent over this group shot of a few of the riders from last weekend in Phoneix.

Left to right we have: Kayland Maxwell, Amanda Little, Allie Sennett, Aaron Maxwell, Erin Sawatzki, and Kyleigh Kalapaca.

Lots of great racing going on on both sides of the country this last weekend. Sorry for no updates while it was going on, but lets just say that our Super 8's High Speed Internet worked as well as the missing locks on the doors. So lets start out East , The big news of the weekend was the introduction of our newest Factory Rider Tyler Brown.

After everyone was shocked in practice to see Tyler running the Supercross Jersey it was time for UCI round 9 . Both Sam and Tyler looked great in Moto's, Tyler won every lap up until his Semi where he came unclipped while in a strong second setting up to pass Kyle Bennett on the second straight. Sam was looking good in Motos but was running out of gear on this long fast track, so after a quick gear change before her Semi, she didn't get a chance to try the new gear and took a 5th in the semi. Other Supercross Riders here on Friday were Kaila Sweeney and Jimmy Brown. Kaila made it to Semi's and took a 6th, while Jimmy had some tough Elite motos and didn't make it to the Semi.

On Saturday it was a whole new race the morning started off with Kenth taking the win lap after lap in his Elite Masters motos and took a second in the main behind Spiderman himself Percy Owens. A couple of time it looked like Kenth was going to take the win but Percey raced a great race and held him off. Next up on Saturday was the UCI Round 10. Motos started off well with Sammy and Tyler again being the crowd favorites and racking up wins in thier Motos, and Kaila was looking real good taking a few seconds in her motos and Jimmy Brown put together a hot lap or two and took a 3rd in one of the Elite Motos. Now it was time for the Semi's. Sammy cruised through her Semi and made it to the main. Kaila took a 5th in her semi. Tyler was ready for his Semi and somehow bonked the gate and had to make up ground, he went from 8th to 5th in th efirst turn and was picking up speed and was about to pass Redman's Steven Cisar on the second straight and Steven unclipped and went down hard right in front of Tyler and Tyler had no where to go but into Cisars bike. Tyler got up quick, but by the time he was up it was too late the pack was gone. Next up were the mains and Sam took a strong second.

The crowd was cheering hard as Sam went for her pass down the rythym section but just ran out of track before she could take the win for the day. So she ended up witht he second for the day.

Next up was the Sunday race. No more UCI points just NBL War of the Stars. Sam sat the day out today as she had to get ready to leave for Australia but was in the crowd cheering for the team louder than anyone else. Tyler, Kenth, Kaila and Jimmy were all ready to finish out the long weekend. Kenth started the day out with a few hot laps and was ready to charge to the front for the main. Tyler was looking good and made it to his Semi but was cursed with the same gate position he had the 2 days prior that kept him out of the mains and was ready to break the curse. So with all 4 of our riders that were racing today in the semi we were feeling good. First up the Masters class for Kenth, no problem makes the main with a second in his Semi,

Then the SuperX for Jimmy Brown, no Problem, Jimmy's in, Then Elite Women for Kaila Sweeny, no problem Kaila's in, now it is all on Tyler and a stacked Mens Elite Semi. We just wanted him to make it past the second straight to break the curse. Gate goes down and Tyler had a decent gate, but was sitting mid pack. through the second straight he catches up and is now in third. Then down the third straight he gets ran of the track by Suarez. He gets back on track and makes a hard charge but takes 5th at the line. Tyler is out. After being one of the fastest looking Pro's on the track all weekend, and winning 6 motos and 2 quarters, bad luck in the Semi has kept him flat for the weekend.

Now was time for the mains. First up is Kenth who pops out like a rocket and is low in the first turn and goes down hard in the first turn. Kenth took tore the meat off of his Shoulder and Elbow, Cracked his helmet, tore his leathers, but got up to the cheers of the crowd. Ketnth had to settle for an 8th today. Then here comes Jimmy Brown in the SuperX class. Jimmy got a good gate and took a solid 5th. It was a constant battle as he was trying to get around Kris Fox the hole lap. Then comes up Kaila in the Elite Women. She says she is feeling good and has been looking strong all weekend. She got a great gate and came out in second behind Stephaine and held off charges from Hyashi the whole track and took a solid second for the day. Congrats Kaila!!!

In unrelated to Supercross news, we would like to give a huge congrats to Bubba Harris who took a big win for himself on Sunday in the NBL Elite Main. It is great to see Bubba going from having his foot amost taken off in Bejing a short 6 months ago to taking the top of the podium.

Now on the west coast we had the ABA Winternationals at Black Mountain. It was not a Pro Race, so the only Pro of ours that made an apperance was Ian Stoffel still riding in a 2007 Supercross uniform as he had gone awol and we did not know where he was. He did not even know there was a national going on, he just showed up for practie for th efirst time in 6 months and ended up racing. On the Amateur side of things, we had a small tight team out there. Aaron Maxwell, Meghan Sowers, Kayland Maxwell, Amanda Little, Allie Sennett, Chachi Warner and we had the debut of 2 new riders of Erin Sawatzki and Kyleigh Kalapaca. Saturday started off great with all riders but Aaron making thier mains. Kyleigh took a 6th in her first race for us, with Meghan following her in for a 7th. Amanda took a 6th in class while Allie and Kayland each grabbed a second in thier respective classes. And Erin Sawatzki took a 7th in class. On Sunday Chachi drove in with his dad after playing a double header on Saturday, I guess the long over night drive was too much as he had trouble making the mains and dropped out in the Semi's, we also had a few riders go down in thier races and had Amanda scrape her hip down to the meat and have both of her knees swell up on her, Little Allie got crashed and hurt her wrist that just healed up. Meghan and Kyleigh swapped places and finished 6 and 7 as yesterday but in reverse order Erin made her class main, Allie took a 4th in Cruiser and Kayland Maxwell riding Meghan's Supercross EVO iS because hers was stolen the night before along with her helmet took the win in 15 girls for the day. Speaking of Kayland's stolen bike, there is a reward for it's safe return. It was a custom Blue Painted EVO iS that she rode at the UCI Worlds last year and we would like to help get it back for her. It was supposedly stolen from under the Stile Industries tent while people were there. Someone brazenly just walked up and grabbed it. More updates and more pictures later.

Shane over at BMXultra.com did another product review on one of our products this week, this time is was our Pro Forks. Shane did a review on our forks a few years ago and gave them a 20 out of 20. click here to see how he feels about out forks after a few years of use and a few minor upgrades. We will have to send him down a few of our new Supercross Bluestreak KEVLAR Tires to see what he thinks about those.

Sammy has been running Prototypes of the Bluestreak Kevlar tires since just after the Worlds last year and has been having great luck with them. We finally got the first production shipment of them in and they are lighter than the regular BlueStreaks which are already one of the lightest racing tires on the market by a few ounces per tire and uses the same great low profile tead and rubber compound you have come to know and love. The 20x1.5's are the ones that arrived first and the 20x1.75 and 20x2.125 are following close behind.

Now we already mentioned that there is going to be a lot of racing going on next weekend with the UCI Round 9 and 10 and the NBL West Palm race next weekend, but there is also going to be the ABA Winters at Black Mountain the same weekend. This is the first time in as long as we can remember that the Mountain was not a Pro Race. Even with it not being a Pro race I still expect a great turnout. From the am side of things, we have had confirmations that Amanda Little is flying down and is bringing one of our newer riders from Canada Erin Sawatzki with, Aaron Maxwell says he has been training hard and is planning on making the main at the mountain. Little Allie fresh off of 4 mains at the Perris National is coming and is planning on making 4 more. Kayland Maxwell is feeling better and ready to start the year off and says she is going for the win. And Chachi Warner is doing double time with his sports and doing a Double Header Baseball game one day and then racing down the mountain the next. We will keep you posted on how things go on both coasts over the weekend.

Now we hate to end the news today with a sad note, but we have had a lot of calls asking where a few of our riders have been. And so everyone knows Krystal Hime is doing great with her career and is riding her bike for fun, and according to her dad may race the USAC championship at DeSoto but that would most likey be her only race of the year. We miss you Krystal, you were always a great part of the team. And while talking about riders taking a break Joe Sowers is going to be taking a break from racing for a bit and is going to be concentrating on his new college career and work. We wish them both luck with their futures. Look for some this week as we might be making a few additions to the Supercross Factory Team to fill these recently vacated spots.

A little late with the update, but Birthday wishes are due for a few of our riders this week. I hope they had a great birthday!

Also late with the udate is a review that BMXultra.com put up of our new Revised Racerhead 2 stem. We got a 20 out of 20 points on thier rating system so that is a great thing. To check the whole review click here. We have more of the stems coming back from anodize this week, so all colors and sizes will be on the shelf so check with your local Authorized Supercross Dealer or online at our Speed Shop page.

Next week is round 9 and 10 of the UCI North American Series in West Palm Beach Florida. We should have a great part of the team there as we have riders from all around the world flying in, Sammy from Switzerland, Jimmy and Kaila from Canada, Kenth from New Mexico, Tyler is flying in from L.A., and Bakari is coming on down from South Carolina. Thanks to Pat from Jesters Racing for getting us set up with our Pit area on the East Coast, make sure you stop on by and grab a new 2008 Catalog or some of the special signature postcards done special for this race. This is the third race we have done the postcards for and they always go fast, so be sure to stop bay and grab 1 or 2 and get your favorite Supercross rider to sign it for you.

We would like to start the day, by welcoming Ken Cools back to the Supercross Family. Many of you may remember that Ken was a Factory Supercross rider way back when and was our first Canadian Rider ever. Now quie a few years later, we are proud that we have Ken back on the bike and are proud to be helping out with his new Camp Cools team. Here is a pic of Ken on his new ride for 2008 a Supercross EVO iS Pro XXL in a custom tan or Vanilla Latte color as the Tim Hortons and Starbucks fanatics would call it.

If you need personalized training, Ken is your go to guy. He also teaches awesome weekly clinics up in the great north. Check out his website kencools.com for details.

Now here is an interesting thing for the day today, some of you may know that aside from Supercross BMX, I also do a little bit of artwork for a few bands. Nothing serious anymore as Supercross takes up all our time, but in the music / design world we have met and have many good friends. One of those good friends is a designer that I worked with while we were doing the Red Hot Chili Peppers website. A Mr. Terry Wells, or as I like to refer to him the Sheriff of Knottingham. Terry, John and I worked on the Red Hot Chili Peppers website from before they had a domain name and was hosted on some geocities website and before Warner Bros. thought the web was going to stick around and be a new form of interactive media. So as you can tell it was a long time ago. Well Terry and I are no longer working for the Chili Peppers but still remain tight friends almost 10 years after we started working together. Well this year Terry decided to start a new project called Widget a Week. If you are on a Mac OS X operating system ( Which we know 18.2% of you are according to our Web Logs ) you have a dashboard feature which uses Widgets. Basicly little mini applications for your desktop. Well the one he did for thsi week is a Supercross Widget. So if you are on a Mac, and a SX Hed, this is a cool little app for your desktop that will keep you up to date with what is going on here at Supercross.

The UCI Euro Round 7 and 8 are done . Sammy looked great in her motos and looked like it was going to be a breeze in her Semi and would make another Euro main, but a few bumps in the last turn took her from third to 5th and she barely missed making the main. You can view the video by clicking here for UCI Round 7. And click here for UCI Round 8.

Also heard from Tyler Brown over the weekend that he is now a part of the Funded USAC team for the next UCI SX race in Australia. Congrats Tyler!

More updates later.

Had a bunch of calls wanting to see the Yellow and Red frames, so here are a few pictures of all the colors.

The Yellow is kind of a Corvette Yellow meets School Bus Yellow.

The Red is a Ferrari Style of Racing Red.

Gun Metal Grey just looks fast and cool and is the most popular color on the R-CR frames right now.

Pearl White is our best selling color on the iS Series of frames.

Sammy Cools Pink is a great color and has a nice Pearl Blue Top Coat over the top of the pink.

We are using a new color Blue this year, it looks more like an Oil Slick and is a nice deep color.

Alot of people consider the Polished frames old school, but they just look so clean. Tyler Brown is killing it on his Polished iS now with all White parts.

Gloss Black, the basic race color. How can you go wrong with Black.

Now today we also got the cover of the new BMX Plus! sent to us and to say we are stoked is an understatement. This is the first all RACE cover that BMX Plus! has done in 20 years! Does this mean that they are going to take BMX racing seriously again?

Be sure when you see this new BMX Plus! magazine on the newstand next to the BMX World magazine that you buy a couple of copies of each and make sure you move them to the front of the rack for everyone to see.

Feb. 20th, 2008
Sammy is on her way to France today for the UCI Round 7 and 8 in Douai France. This will be her last Euro round before coming back to the USA for the Palm Beach Florida races. Even though she has not been training for the Euro rounds she is still sitting in the #7 spot in Euro UCI Points. And is still maintaining her #1 position for the North American series. We will keep you posted with what we hear over the weekend.

For the Tomas Fernandez update, he was Air Ambulanced back to New Mexico last night and will be in the hospital there for the next 3-4 weeks. I don't know if the guys at the ABA planned it, but it looks like he was the picture of the day today on thier website as well.

And in Product news, we have a few new colors that came back from Powdercoat yeserday. We did some of the EVO iS Frames in a real cool Red, a few in Yellow and a few in the Gun Metal Grey that we have been doing the R-CR frames in. We will try to get a few photos posted up shortly. You can see the Gun Metal Grey R-CR below in Randy Roberts photo from the ABA So.Cal Nationals. So if you are looking for a cool custom color. Check with your local Authorized Supercross BMX Dealer today. Or head on over to the Shop page now.

Feb. 19th, 2008
The second day of the ABA So.Cal Nationals is in the record books. The weather was great , the people were great and it was a great day at the BMX track. Special thanks to the Sennett and the Shrader families for putting out such a great BBQ spread for the team. Just wait until that ABA Fire Magic BBQ contest starts up, I think Lavonne's special BBQ Tri-tip will take the title on that. Sunday was similar to Saturday, with a few swap ups. Jimmy Brown was still a little sore from his crash the day before but made it into the crash up derby of the A Pro Main. He found himself on the wrong side of the elbow a few times and got a little dirty, but took the 6th for the day. Randy Roberts had to work so he wasn't there and Brian Peterson was home with the new baby, so we were a few riders short for the day. Aaron Maxwell put together the lap of his life and made it to quarters again and looked like he was going to make the main, but his 1/4 looked like the main and he just missed qualifying. Meghan Sowers jsut missed her main by 1 place again, Little Allie made both of her mains for Class and Cruiser.Chachi came un clipped in his Cruiser moto and came back to qualify out. Lots of heart in that kid, he wants to win. And speaking of heart, Ashley Shrader had the same scenario with the gate dropping and not being clipped in, the whole pack was way ahead and she just dug deep and didn't quit and won the lap and won her main! Congrats to all of them. Barney Brown sent us some photos of a few of the riders, and of course forgot to send one of his own son.

Here Randy Roberts makes his rare start of the ABA season apperance and makes the main on flats.

Aaron looks like he has finally been training. Watching his second moto on Sunday prooved it, the kid has been spending time at the skatepark, trails and doing his sprints.

Brian pulled off a third for his first ABA race of the year, and even brought out his wife and new baby to hang out and watch.

Megan was battling with Kyleigh Kalapaca all weekend.

Little Allie's first race back sinc her proken wrist and she made 4 out of 4 mains.

Chachi had the dreaded move up birthday the week before but still made his cruiser main. And came real close in class.

Allie didn't want to smile, but we got her too, here she and Sammy's new Olympic frame are being photographed by Dan Mooney for the BMXer.

Feb. 16th, 2008
Day one of the ABA So.Cal Nationals are done. Very cool day, weather was beautiful, the only thing that could of made it better was if it was a Pro race. 226 motos of hard racing going on. Jimmy Brown was flying in his motos was sitting comfortable in his Semi and came unclipped in the second straight and went down. You know he will be hungry for Sunday. Randy Roberts made his apperance and made the 28x main. Brian Peterson took a 3rd in his cruiser class, Aaron Maxwell made it to his 1/4's in 17/18x which is a killer hard class right now. Meghan Sowers just missed her transfer spot so she wants that main on Sunday. Little Allie did great, this was her first race back since the broken wrist at the Orange Show National and made both mains, Chachi Warner who turned 10 last week had that hard move up race and made his main in cruiser, and Ashley Shrader raced hard and barely got passed at the line for a second. More updates after Sunday's racing.

Feb. 14th, 2008
Lots of racing going on this weekend again, we are getting ready to head down to Lake Perris for the ABA's So. Cal Nationals. And in the midwest the NBL has thier Indy Regional going on. We will post updates from Lake Perris over the weekend. Looks like we will have Jimmy Brown, Randy Roberts, Brian Peterson, Meghan Sowers, Allison Sennett, Chachi Warner, Ashley Shrader and possibly a few others in attendance so it will be a great race. Neither of these are Pro Races so it seems like the sanctions are giving them a break after thier travels to Spain last week.

Now for an update on Tomas, we got a call last night from John Roberts who told us that Tomas is still in the hospital and that his healing from his surgery is not going to well and that his internal oragans are still real busted up. At the current time he is still on a feeding tube and has been told he has at least 3-4 more weeks in the hospital before he can go home. Currently he is still in Oklahoma, and they have looked into an Air Ambulance to get him closer to home to Albuquerque, but John said the cost of that is $30,000 so it is not an easily doable thing. Tomas's mom Liz is looking into how much the insurance would cover of that and John has a couple ideas for some fund raisers that we will be helping with in a small capacity. We will keep you posted with his plans as it goes along.

And lastly for today, we would like to extend a formal and public apology to Tim Dinger for misquoting the NBL Masters title chase lead in a press release for Kenth. The NBL made such a big deal about the Coyote National being the first Pro Stop of the year and with Kenth not loosing a lap there that weekend and taking the 2 wins for the weekend we wrongly assumed that that would give Kenth the Masters lead. We did not go to the NBL site to check points as it was 2 wins for what were supposed to be the first 2 Pro races of the year, seems like pretty easy math. Where we wrong was that the NBL did have 2 other Masters races that count already at the NBL Christmas Classic. Tim won there on Sunday. Again our apologies to Tim, Dinger has always been a friend of ours and we did not mean to take anything away from his accomplishment of having the current lead. Tim has always been a great racer and a serious contender now in the Masters class. We wish him well with his title chase this year.

More racing updates later.

Feb. 12th, 2008
Replays of the UCI Madrid Spain Supercross Race are available for viewing on Freecaster.tv. If you did not get a chance to see the race while it was broadcast live, this is the perfect way to see a great race. Hopefully this format of the UCI Supercross races will gather more attention and media coverage. It is nice to see BMX presented in a more Fan and Media Friendly manner. Maybe this is what the sport needs to bring it up to the next level. Anyways, check out the racing action for yourself over at freecaster.tv.

We got a call from HoJo and John Roberts from 505 Racing/Supercross yesterday with an update on Tomas, and we were hoping that he would already be on his way back home, but they told me that he is still in the hospital and hooked back up to a feeding tube and that they are waiting for word of weather he needs another surgery today.

Feb. 9th, 2008 - Afternoon
Huge congrats to Hurley's Tyler Brown, making the UCI Supercross main and taking a 4th! We are super stoked to have Tyler racing our Supercross EVO iS Frame and Pro LT Forks. Jerry over at BMXmania.com will be posting full results and photos.

Feb. 9th, 2008
The UCI Supercross race in Madrid goes live in 15 minutes. Tyler Brown placed 39th in the time trial with less than a 1 second gap between him and the Time Trial King Mikey Day!! We also saw that Bubba was in the top ten so we hope his ankle is feeling better and ready to race. Should be a great race. You can get all the updates on Jerry's BMXmania.com page, and you can watch it live on Freecaster.tv or by clicking this page here.

In other news, we have had a lot of calls on the 26" frames and the G6e has found a new home, and we have a lot of people wanting the R-CR versions but they are still currently available. And we do still have 26" Forks available for those of you that need upgraded forks for your 26" BMXers.

And in the best news, Verizon has seemed to get the Voicemail working again, but we lost what the voicemail service said were 56 messages that were stored too long. So if you called last week and did not get a return call from your message, we apologize and if you would please call back it is appreciated. Time to go watch some racing!!

Feb. 8th, 2008
Voicemail is still down, after many calls to Verizon, we were told that the whole state of California who uses Verzons voicemail is without service, they are saying it should be fixed by tonite, so if you have been calling, we can't get the messages yet so please call back.

Practice is going on out in Spain for the UCI Supercross BMX race. Freecaster is providing live coverage and we have built a little page here that you can click on to to watch it. Sam got to sneak in and see the track yesterday and said that she wishes she could race it. Tyler Brown e-mailed in that he was headed out to practice and that he was feeling good and wanted to grab another podium like he did in Arizona. Jerry over at BMXmania.com has a full page already set up and running so you can get all the info you need. Looks like it is going to be a great race.

Feb 7th, 2008
Sammy finally made it to Madrid last night to watch the UCI Supercross race. Seems everyone we spoke too had some kind of flight delay or lost baggage. Sam did great last week in Denmark as she is not even training for the Euro rounds and she is sitting 7th in the UCI Euro series. But she wanted to go to Madrid to watch the race and get psyched up for the Australian UCI Supercross next month. You can watch the UCI Race in Madrid this weekend for free on Freecaster.tv and Jerry from BMXmania.com is on his way as well and will have a page full of photos and stories from the race this weekend as well.

Other good news is that we got to speak with Tomas last night and passed on all the well wishes. He was very appreciative of all the kind words and thoughts. He is doing much better today and got to walk and they have stopped the blood transfusions so they are hoping he will be out of ICU by the weekend and will then be able to go home a few days later.

Feb. 6th, 2008
Let's start today's update off with the fact that when you call the phone company plan on being on hold for at least 2 hours. That is the way our day started when our phone was beeping that we had voicemail messages and we were not able to call in and retrieve them. Then we found out that our phone is not playing the voicemail message when you call. Our lovely phone company said that maybe Friday they will have it all working again but that our entire area is without voicemail and they are working on the problem. Not good. So if you called today and left a message, we do not know as we can not retrieve it. And probably can't until Friday or Monday, so please call back. Next we got a few pics from Toxic Tom today better known as Thomas Richards Dad, he built up a 26" EVO G6e and wanted to send us a few pics.

We had posted up a few months ago about these and Tom has been busy getting his built. He claims it is weighing in at around 18lbs. And that is with a 26" Supercross Pro Fork and Supercross Sinner Cranks. This is a true 26" BMX racing machine. not some modified 4x bike. A 11.65 BB height, 16" Rear Tri, 22" TT and a 73.5 degree headtube angle. Everyone who saw it in Guthrie was pretty amazed. We also built up 2 R-CR Air hardened Triple Butted Cro-mo versions with the same dimensions. Very cool ride Tom. Now you just need one of the new Saddles on it!

No word today yet how Tomas is doing, but thank you for everyones calls of concern. I will pass the well wishes on to Liz and Tomas. We will post more updates as we hear them.

Feb. 5th, 2008
Just got a call from John Roberts, the TM of one of our Factory Support Team's 505/Supercross out of New Mexico, and was given some bad news about our former Factory Rider Tomas Fernandez, who is John's main Pro. Seems on Sunday morning in Guthrie Tomas was taking Pro Cruiser practice and according to Tomas's mom Liz, he broke a chain and went over the bars and took a bar to the stomach and exploded one of his kidney's. Tomas was rushed to the hospital and has remained in ICU since the accident on Sunday. Liz was very thankful for the thoughts and well wishes of the few who have known of this and thanks go out to Jason from MJT for bringing Liz and Tomas' grandfather food while they are waiting with Tomas in ICU. Liz said that they are hoing to have Tomas out if ICU by the weekend and try to get him home to recover in comfortable and familiar surroundings of home. At this point Liz said prayers are what is needed , so we are sending Tomas our best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery and even thought the Dr's are saying he won't race again, I bet we will see Tomas back on his bike teaching the local kids and riding as soon as he can. Today's picture is an ad we ran in MOTOMAG back in 2003 when Tomas was our Factory 17x.

Feb. 4th, 2008
The new 2008 Supercross Pro Saddles arrived last week, and they have been more popular than we expected, we are almost sold out of all of the Plaids and the the Paint Splatter was the first one to sell out. You should still be able to get one from your Authorized Supercross Dealer, but you better act fast. Here are a few photos of a few of the styles.

Missing from the above saddle photo is the White Saddle which has been our most popular and the Yellow Plaid.

The Black Saddle is a Black top, with Black Kevlar Corners for Durability, Black Cro-mo rails and a Dark Grey side and rear to keep it a nice tone on tone saddle.

The Camo Saddle has more Camo in it this year for all you Camo fans. Everyone loved the Camo saddle last year but asked for a bt more Camo in it, so here ya go.

And don't forget about the Sammy Cools Saddles in Snow White, Pink Print, Pink Plaid and Black Plaid as well. And of course the Supercross BMX Mini Saddles for the littler riders.

Feb. 3rd, 2008
Kenth takes another Vet Pro Win! Lots of drama surrounding the Vet Pro class today, and while all the drama was swirling around, Kenth just went on to take another Vet Pro win to extend his lead for the ABA Vet Pro title! On top of his Vet Pro Win, he also took a second in cruiser which should have him leaving Oklahoma this weekend with the lead in the ABA Vet Pro class, and possibly the lead in the Pro Cruiser class as well. Congrats Kenth! In other Pro news, Smoken' Joe took another 3rd in Pro Cruiser today that keeps him in the top 5 for the Pro Cruiser chase.

No word from Denmark yet, but we will keep you updated as we hear how Sammy did.

Feb. 2nd, 2008
Word in from Denmark at the UCI Euro Round 5 was that Sammy was looking fast and took the holeshot in her main, and after a few bums in the first turn ended up with the third for the day. I think Sam is the only one that is doing the Euro seson and the North American season while still training. Congrats Sam!

And back here on our continent the ABA Sooner Nationals in Guthrie had great things going fro us as well as Kenth Doubled yesterday taking the Vet Pro and Pro Cruiser win! Congrats Kenth! We also had Smoken' Joe in th ePro Cruiser main where he took a third, Thomas Richards at his first national in a full year made both his class and cruiser mains and he took a third in 16 cruiser and a 6th we believe in class. Not bad for his first national in a full year. Congrats also go out to Tyler Kirberg one of our support team riders that has been being trained by Joe, he raced his first national as an Expert today and took a 4th in the highly competitive 6x class. More updates tommarrow. And you can always watch the Sooner Nationals live on go211.com.

Feb. 1st, 2008
Lots of racing going on his weekend, first we have the UCI European Round 5 and 6 going on this weekend in Denmark. Sammy jumped on a plane yesterday to go from Switzerland to go to Denmark. And aside from leading North American UCI points and sitting second in Overall, she is also in the top 20 of European UCI points . We will try to post updates from Europe as we hear them. Also this weekend is the ABA Sooner Nationals. This is the race last year that took Thomas Richards out of commission for the last year, and this is going to be his first national back. Kenth is coming on down and after some great racing last weekend taking 2 wins to be leading the NBL Masters Elite Points for the year, he is ready to grab a few more wins this weekend to gain a lead on the ABA Vet Pro points chase as well. Smoken' Joe who missed the Goodyear race due to being sick is feeling better and looking to make some Double A Mains this weekend. More info to follow so keep checking back.

Sammy Cools Supercross EVO S7 Pro Race Bike

This first one you have seen on these pages before, this is Sammy's Supercross EVO S7 Pro XL that she raced at the 2007 UCI Worlds and on. Currently we jsut did a cool new RED paint job for her with a new print, so be looking for it when you see her this weekend in Denmark, or next month in Florida.

Kenth Fallen's Supercross EVO iS Pro Race Bike

This is Kenth's Supercross EVO iS Pro that has been winning the Vet and Masters classes of late. Supercross EVO iS Frame, Supercross Pro LT Forks, Supercross Hubs, Supercross Sinner Cranks, and Lo Pro Bars. Pretty much all Supercross down to the bar ends and tires.

Got the new issue of BMX World magazine in today. And we can say, if you are not a subscriber, you need to be. This magazine keeps getting better and better with each issue. It is a full thick magazine filled with BMX racing content! Ton's of race coverage, interviews, heck we didn't even end up with much coverage in there and I am stoked as it was just filled with BMX goodness. Can't wait to see the next issue as they just keep getting better and better.

Below are a few pics from this weekend in Goodyear at the NBL Coyote National.

Kenth lined up in the gate next to who will be his biggest rival this year.

This picture is great, just wish it was a little clearer, Tyler Brown and Jimmy Brown leading the UCI Elite pack down the first straight. You can see Afro Bob, and Cristian Becerine in the backgorund amongst others.

Kaila showing off the new 2008 colors.

Ashley Shrader may look like she was sleeping on the gate, but won every lap wire to wire.

Kenth and Laura relaxing in the Supercross pits before his main on Saturday.

The BMX racing world was having a ton of stuff going on this weekend. On the East Coast in Florida, the ABA was having thier Gator Nationals, there was an NBL State Race and on the West Coast there was the Round 5 of the UCI North American series in Goodyear Arizona followed up by the NBL Coyote Nationals which was the first NBL Pro race of the year, and the ABA in Goodyear was also holding a track opening/state race and a Redline Cup. And the wierd thing is that 2 races in Florida and 2 races in Arizona and they both got rain!! So needless to say this was a full weekend for BMX. And we would like to start off with a HUGE congratlations to Kenth Fallen for taking the NBL Masters Win for both days fo this weekend to put him right on top of the points list for the NBL Masters Title and the ABA Vet Pro title.

Kenth won all of his motos and gave everyone a little bit of drama in Saturdays main by hitting the gate and getting into the first turn second behind Holmes and proceded to motor past him in the second straight and hold the lead for the win.

In the UCI Round 5 Elite Race, Tyler Brown took his Supercross EVO iS on to the podium. Congratulations to Tyler!! We are sure he made Hurley proud as well as us.

Tyler then went on to prove that it was not a fluke and did some amazing racing on Saturday winning a few of his motos and then having the drag race of the year down the last straight with Bubba and dR to take the 4th qualifying spot n his semi. Tyler took a 5th in the main that day and ended up in 3 out of 3 mains for the weekend. Now in bad news for Tyler this weekend his dog Baxter busted up his knee this weekend and is going to require surgery. Well wishes are sent out to Baxter for a speedy recovery.

Jimmy Brown came down from the great white north and made the Semi in Mens Elite for the UCI race and then had the semi from hell on Saturday for SuperX and just missed making the main.

Kaila Sweeny also made the trip down and while she missed making the main on Friday after a crash in her second moto for the UCI day she did make the NBL Elite women main on Saturday.

And finally our youngest rider on the team little Ashley Shrader brought her family out and proceded to kill the 8 girls class and picked up a pair of wins for the weekend.

Now SuperDave showed up for the weekend and after 2 years of riding for us in the Vet/Masters class Dave has moved on to take an offer to be SE's new Vet Pro. We thank Dave for his racing over the past few years and Dave will always be considered a part of the Supercross Family. Dave will continue to run Supercross parts and is always welcome under the Supercross tents.

We also had a ton of people asking where Sammy is? Well Sammy is still over in Europe and will be doing the Euro UCI Rounds in Denmark next weekend before heading off to Madrid for the UCI Downhill SX race. Sammy kept in touch with the team all weekend long to ofer her support and congratulations.

now before we end the report for the NBL Coyote Nationals we would like to send well wishes out to Jason Carne$ who crashed real hard in the rythym section and from what we were told besides being knocked out for 10 minutes is in the hospital with a crushed Kidney. We wish him well wishes and a speedy recovery.

At the ABA track opening at Speedworld we only had one rider attending Meghan Sowers and she picked up a second for the day.

Now back east at the ABA Gator Nationals Bakari Hassan picked up a second and a third in the 17-18x class and we also heard the Chris Krooswyk was out there representing and took a pair of 7th's in the A Pro Class.

More updates and pictures later.

Just got the new issue of BMX Plus! magazine and it has the Readers Choice Awards in it, and Congratulations to Bubba for winning it I think this is his 4th or 5th year in a row, but Huge Congrats go out to our own Sammy Cools who tied for 3rd in the Readers Choice Awards with Randy Stumphauser and Donny Robinson. This issue also had the results for the Ultimate Race Bike which has seemed liek the ultimate Dual Purpost bike the last few years, but we were proud to be on the top 3 list with our Supercross EVO S-7. Pick up a copy at your local newstand today, this issue also has the ABA Grands coverage so it is a good read for the BMX racers.

Randy Little just called in with updates from Reno, he didn't have all the details but here we go. Smoken Joe made it to quarters in AA Pro but missed the cut with Bubba. Jimmy made the main in A Pro and he thinks ended up with a 5th or 6th., Kenth and SuperDave both made the Vet Pro Main, and Kenth took a second today behind Holmes. He was not sure how Bittner finished. On the amatuer side today he was not sure how things went for everyone as he was trying to get packed up, but he knew Amanda and Simon did not make thier mains today, he thought Chachi made both of his, and Ashley Shrader made both her Class and Cruiser main. This was Ashley's first time racign a cruiser and she made a national main. He was trying to send the photos from the race but the Internet connection was lacking, so he said he has ton's of great photos for us to post that he will send over when he gets back home to Canada. Also Tyler Brown took his Supercross iS's to 2 more mains today in AA Pro and Pro Cruiser.

Over in Holland we have not heard much from UCI round 4 , but we did hear that Sam made it to her semi and got balled up on the first jump and was not able to catch up to make the main. We were actually surprised she was racing today as we knew she was not feeling well, but Sam always want's to stay on the track as much as she can.

Jan.12th, 2008 - Evening 2nd Update -Reno
Kenth Takes the Vet Pro Win his first time out!! Congrats Kenth! While we don't have full updates, here is what we have gotten so far.In AA Pro Sowers got hurt in moto's, we heard it might of been a broken or sprained wrist, but Momma Sowers called in to say that it was not, and that Joe took a 6th in Pro Cruiser today. In A Pro, we kept hearing that Jimmy was going to be one of the ones to beat in A Pro but final word was that he did not transfer out of his Semi, so he will have to try again tommarrow , but we were told he was going fast! In Vet, Kenth took the win and we heard SuperDave may of taken the 3rd or 4th, no one was sure on the points as of yet. No word on how Josh finisheed up yet, Simon made his main and took 8th, Amanda made her main and took the 8th, Chachi as we said earlier took a pair of 5ths in his Semis and Ashley Shrader took a second today. Also Tyler Brown made the AA Main, heard he might of taken a 5th, but no one was sure, but we did hear he took a second in Pro Cruiser, behind Redmans' Paulie Lange. More updates with pictures after Randy Little gets back from dinner.

Jan.12th, 2008 Evening
Just heard in that Sam is still not feeling good, but regardless took constant 4ths, all day today. 4th in all 3 motos, 4th in the semi and 4th in the main. Congrats Sam, making the mains at any of the Euro rounds is not easy, especially when you are not feeling well.

Video of the race can be seen on schijfbmx.nl

Word in from Reno so far is that Jimmy Brown is one of the top 3 A Pro's there that in the main tonite it will be a battle between him, Denzel Stein and Kris Fox. In Vet Pro Kenth has been on the top of his game and is going to be battling with Holmes for the win tonite. Word is that Bittner was looking a little off in the first round, but picked it up by the third and will be in the hunt for the win tonite as well. Smoken Joe fell in class and they had originally thought that he had broken his wrist, but iced it and is coming back for cruiser with a look of vengence in his eyes I was told. Simon Meili made it to his mains, Amanda Little made it to her main for Class, Chachi Warner took a pair of 5ths in his Semi and Ashley Shrader made the main in class. The Maxwells and Meghan Sowers did not make it here this weekend and we have a new addition in the older Am class of Josh Baldur in the 17-18x class. Josh has been riding on one of our support teams 2 Fast BMX for the last few years and is ready to step it up a bit. We have also heard that even though he is not an official part of the Supercross Factory team, that Down Town Tyler Brown was taking his Supercross iS's around the track in AA and Pro Cruiser real fast. More Updates later.

Lot's of racing going on this weekend. ABA Reno season opener is starting up this morning and word is that it is real cold out there but that the track has firmed up a bunch from first rounds of practice yesterday and it should be a great race. Randy Little has brought his camera and laptop with and said he will be shooting us over photos every night and letting us know how things are going. Jimmy Brown came down to the states a little early this week to sneak in a few extra days of training with Smoken Joe, both Jimmy and Joe want to start the year off with a bang and put in some extra training time to make sure that they get a good start to the year. A few of our other Pro's that want the rest of the class to play catch up are our Vet's. Both Kenth and SuperDave are wanting to start the year off right with a few podium finishess this weekend to keep the rest of the Vet Pro class having to play catch up. More updates from Reno later when we hear how racing is going on.

Now on the otherside of the world in Zwolle Holland, UCI round 3 should be done and we are waiting to hear from Sam with how things went. She caught a nasty cold after flying back to Switzerland from Columbus and was feeling miserable on Thursday, so hopefully she is feeling better. We will be watchng the web for results and waiting for her call. In the mean time schijfbmx.nl has some video up of Fridays practice and video of the track.
