Dani Takes W4 at the 2011 UCI BMX Worlds!

Well the Worlds are over, and Dani came in the second highest Ranking Junior or Elite from the USA taking a 4th in Junior Women! What a long trip it has been for Dani, first last Friday, she came up to the Supercross office on Friday for a bit of Lunch and picking up a few last minute things for the Worlds with Amanda Carr and ended up having a little accident on the way home, which will put her in search of a new car, then she gets to Copenhagen and goes with Team USA to a local track, crashes and gets hurt only a few days before Worlds. Not the start to a trip for your biggest race of the year that you would want.

Does this get the Danimal down? Nope not at all, here she is waving to her fans, all smiles and bright eyed behind that Fly Full Face Helmet and Spy Goggles.

Come Friday morning for Time Trials, Dani Qualified out, and went on to the SuperFinals, with each lap, Dani was getting faster and faster.

She was prepped and ready for this morning. A couple of thirds in her rounds, took her easily to the main. Dani knew tha tthis was going to be a tough race, and was set in lane 4, with her main competition inside of her. Dani came out of the gate strong, had a clean lap with a couple of passes back and forth and finished with a strong 4th to claim the World 4 Plate for her first year of Junior Women.
