Chrome!!!!!
It's that time of year where we start to get the new products for the upcoming year finished. A few weeks ago we posted up some spy shots of the new 2012 Passion Frames. Well yesterday we got the first one back from chrome. And man it looks siick!!
The idea of doing chrome again started last year when we started to get calls on the Chrome Forks and Chrome Bars and we started talking about how in 89' when we started Supercross if it wasn't Chrome it wouldn't sell. Everything had to be chrome, no one wanted paint. Well they say things go full circle and we started getting more calls on the Chrome, and our Chrome forks sell out immediately as do the bars, And we knew we were going to do the new 2012 Extensions in Chrome, because Eddie wanted one, so......... for 2012 we are going to offer a limited run of Chrome Passions as well.
New Features for the 2012 Passions are the new Top Tube Gusset with a stamped in Supercross Logo.
The new Bullet Tipped Stays and smaller back side CNC'd Cro-mo dropouts
And a thicker CNC'd Mid BB shell.
All geometry remains the same as the 2011 Passions except for a 1/2" shorter rear end. The rearend is now 13.35" slammed or 14" at the center of the dropout. So our old Passion Rear End Slammed is now the mid of the dropout . So you can still set up the new Passion to ride like your old Passion if you like.
New colors for the 2012 Passions are the Limited Edition Show Chrome, Matte Black, Clear Raw, the new Purple to match the new SLT Forks
The new Matte Baby Blue to match the 2012 SLT Forks
