April 1, 2011 - No this is not an April Fools Joke
Got to love it when our anodizers, just happen to be doing that color we want and are able to bust it out quick because we want to build these machines up and go ride!!! So the new Prototype Thumper Downhill Frames are done, and just like the Shine where we did up a cool Van Halen "Fair Warning" anodize job to let the world know we were coming,
we decided this time to do all the Linkage Arms for the new Thumper frames in a sparkly GOLD anodize.
Just a simple reminder of what we are going for. If we are going to do something, we want it to be the best, we want the absolute cutting edge, we are going for the gold. Keep your eyes peeled as we ge tthese things all dialed in and built up. We think we did our homework and now it is time to go test it out and see if we did. The Front Tri Weight is 5lbs 4 ounces and the Rear Tri is 2lbs 13 ounces , so 8lbs 1 ounce for a 8.25" rear Travel Downhill Frame, yep, think that is pretty good.
